As the organizations of parents continue to strengthen their organizational structure and management, five among the 11 are already handling livelihood projects granted by AWO International through KAUGMAON Inc. Projects are identified according to the needs of the community. These serve as the source of health and educational support for the child laborers who are currently studying but have nothing much to sustain their needs. In Barangay Tibungco, two organizations are handling DUMOY fresh water distribution as well as in Barangay Panacan and Ilang while a small sari-sari store is being handled by the parents in Barangay Callawa.
Parents have continually asserted their role in the community and some of them finally made their organizations recognized by the barangay. As a result, one parent organization received a livelihood support from Barangay council of Barangay Ilang headed by the Barangay Chairperson Atty. Arnolfo Ricardo B. Cabling. This also made possible through the help of child rights advocates headed by Barangay Councilor Alvin Besinan. This additional livelihood project is now a great contribution for the sustenance of the organization and the education of several child laborers in the barangay.
